My name is Rachel, and I am co-manager for the UvA Green Office (2024-2025) alongside Sebastian. I am a fifth-year Political Science student and second-year member of the core team in the Green Office. Previously, I worked as the Research and Education team lead. I was the chair of the student council (FSR) for the Faculty of the Social and Behavioural Sciences for the 2023-2024 academic year. In the council, I worked in sustainability, diversity and inclusion and social safety. I look forward to a productive year in the GO and to provide the UvA student body with ample opportunities to grow its knowledge and familiarity of Sustainability in all of its faces.

Hi, I am Andrea, Second-year Research Master Student in Social Sciences, and the new co-manager of the Green Office for the second half of the academic year 2024-2025. With a background in Social Work and Cultural Anthropology I have a passion for intersectionality, decolonization and diversity. As a Council member in the student council of the Faculty of Social and Behavioral Sciences I work in social safety and diversity. In addition, as the Diversity Adviser of the Research Master Social Sciences I work to transform higher education to reflect a decolonial and diversified curriculum. My goal is to integrate diversity and intersectionality into sustainability efforts at UvA, and to address colonial legacies, to develop more inclusive and effective solutions that honor all communities and ecosystems.

Hey everyone! My name is Clara (she/her) and I will be the Team Lead for the Research and Education Team at the Green Office. I am in my fourth year of Political Science, and my main interests lie in queer politics, the politics of indigeneity, and climate justice. My goal is to bring an interdisciplinary and intersectional approach to sustainability. I look forward to working in the Green Office this year!

I am Cristian, the Campus and Operations Coordinator this academic year. As a third-year Computational Social Science student with a background at the Green Office UvA and Enactus UvA, I've developed a vested interest in sustainability project management. I believe that action against the climate crisis should involve projects that are well set up and can continue to evolve in the long term. Acting at a local level (our campus), I'd like to continue finding and implementing innovative solutions for a more sustainable UvA while engaging with and bringing together students, teachers, and Facility Services to pursue common sustainability goals.

I’m Eren (they/them) and I am the Events & Community Team Leader 🍄 I am excited about the upcoming year and the community we can foster through an intersectional and multidimensional approach to sustainability!
